Chelsea Clinton Hits Back at Donald Trump Jr. Claim

Chelsea Clinton felt the need to respond over Twitter on Friday after Donald Trump shared a New York Post article about her online.

Chelsea Clinton may have grown up with politically involved parents, her father served two terms as President and her mother was the Secretary of State and ran for President in 2016, but the former first daughter hasn't, to this point, showed any interest in running for office herself.

That didn't stop the New York Post from speculating about Clinton in a recent piece. According to the paper a Clinton source said, "Chelsea really wants to be the ambassador to the UK. There’s a reason why Bill and Hillary came out in the first five minutes to support Kamala’s presidential bid — they were currying favor."

The source continued by telling Sara Nathan and Lydia Moynihan that the Clintons have been, "working on this idea for a long time."

Donald Trump Jr., hoping to do anything he can to detract from his father's dumpster fire campaign shared the article, writing, "shocked."

It was Clinton, though, who got the last word on the matter. She responded to Trump Jr.'s post, writing, "Must be the same people who said I would run for Congress, get married years before I actually did, and have an alien sibling. Can’t wait to elect @VP Kamala Harris as our next @POTUS …and keep living in New York City."
