Capitol Rioter Who Thought She’d Avoid Prison Because She’s ‘Rich and White’ Reports to Prison

Jenna Ryan, the Trump-loving Texas “MAGA Realtor” who hired a private jet to fly to the January 6th insurrection and claimed she’d never go to prison, was sentenced to serve 60 days in prison. Ryan wasn’t supposed to report for a few more weeks but turned herself in early to begin serving her sentence.
Ryan, who filmed herself entering the U.S. Capitol building on January 6th, reported to Bryan Federal Prison Camp a few days before Christmas to begin serving her 60-day prison sentence. She pleaded guilty in August to a misdemeanor count of parading, picketing, or demonstrating in the Capitol.

Ryan recently bragged about getting a book deal, and may have strategically surrendered early to be able to add the dramatic storyline of spending Christmas in prison. She believes herself to be a social media influencer (with tweets about heil-ing Hitler and her unabashed support for Kyle Rittenhouse, among others), and has plans to parlay this prison stay into a windfall. In videos posted to her TikTok account, she claimed to “look forward to doing lots of yoga”. She also said it would be “worth going to prison” if she manages to lose 30 pounds thanks to a new workout regimen and diet, free from alcohol and junk food.
“People that go to prison camp — that’s what it’s called, look it up on YouTube… I’m not worried about violence. It’s going to be boring… I can get on the floor and do some sit-ups, work on my crow poses.”

Ryan went viral earlier this year when she replied to someone’s Oprah Winfrey GIF, which showed the talk show host pointing and exclaiming, “You goin’ to jail.” In her reply, Ryan argued that her defense is airtight. “Definitely not going to jail,” Ryan tweeted. “Sorry I have blonde hair white skin a great job a great future and I’m not going to jail. Sorry to rain on your hater parade. I did nothing wrong.”
