Candace Owens is Suspended From Facebook

Facebook, Instagram and other social media sites have recently banned a number of prominent conservative users. The anger over these bans goes all the way to the White House where the administration created a form for people to complain about social media censorship.

The latest conservative pundit to receive a ban is Candace Owens. The right wing provocateur took to Twitter to complain about her recent Facebook suspension.

Owens directed her complaint directly to the President. She wrote, “Dear Donald Trump, My Facebook page has been suspended for 7 days for posting that white supremacy is not a threat to black America, as much as father absence and & liberal policies that incentivize it, are. I am censored for posting the poverty rates in fatherless homes.”

The conservative activist has been a strong supporter of the President. She is most famous for her Blexit campaign, which encourages African Americans to leave the Democratic party and become Republicans.

Owens recently appeared before the House Judiciary Committee during a hearing on White Nationalism. Congressman Ted Lieu pressed the conservative on comments that she made that can be construed as supporting Adolf Hitler.

Donald Trump Jr. came out in Owens’ defense following the hearing. The President’s son shared a video of Owens’ answer and tweeted, “Wow. Well done Candace Owens!!! Great to see someone call out the Dems on their purposeful manipulation of facts for their narrative. Since the media runs with anything they say and is the marketing wing of the DNC they aren’t used to getting called out for the repeated BS.”

Owens again took to Twitter this morning to accuse Facebook or prioritizing Liberal voices over Conservative ones. She wrote, “Facebook has allowed every post that has falsely and horribly accused Donald Trump of white supremacy to remain on its platform. But when a black woman begins discussing the TRUTH—which is that liberal policies have systematically ruined black homes—they censor. Unfair!”
