Last week, Candace Owens had the opportunity to interview Donald Trump. It did not go well for her. The former president actually corrected the Daily Wire pundit when she tried to push vaccine hesitancy.
Since then, Owens has doubled down on her position. She told fans that Trump is only pushing vaccines because he is too old to do his own research. And now, she is giving out more questionable medical advice. Owens has been pushing colloidal silver, a treatment known to turn skin blue.
The Conservative pundit said in a recent Instagram video, “Yes, colloidal silver! I take colloidal silver every single day, I love colloidal silver. That is a great one. That is another one that people probably know nothing about.”
The Daily Beast explains, “Colloidal silver’s most famous side effect is argyria—a condition that turns users’ skin a bluish-gray color, usually permanently. Despite those risks, colloidal silver has sometimes been embraced by political outsiders, including some libertarians seeking treatments for a variety of illnesses outside the medical system. Montana Libertarian politician Stan Jones, for example, turned his skin blue by consuming colloidal silver.”

Doctors say that the ‘medicine’ not only has no scientific benefit, it is also considered unsafe.
