Things aren’t looking all that good for Republican Congressman Jim Jordan. Jordan, who has been a staunch ally of President Trump, in his attempts to discredit the Special Counsel investigation into election meddling, has come under heat as of late due to allegations of sexual misconduct at Ohio State University in the 1990s.
It all began early this week when former Ohio State University wrestler Mike DiSabato came forward claiming that the team physician, Dr. Richard Strauss took part in sexual misconduct against former wrestlers on the OSU team, where he worked from the middle of the 1970s until the late 1990s. DiSabato also claimed that Congressman Jim Jordan, who was an assistant coach on the team from 1987-1995, knew about the allegations after they occurred, but did not take action to prevent them for occurring. DiSabato claims that Jordan actually witnessed lewd behavior in the showers, and refused to act.
Jim Jordan not only has denied these allegations, but he even took things a bit further by calling the Capitol Hill Police, and claiming that DiSabato is “bullying him”.
Now, however, more witness are coming forward to corroborate DiSabato’s claims, including former UFC Champion Mark Coleman, who says, “There’s no way unless he’s (Jordan) got dementia or something that he’s got no recollection of what was going on at Ohio State.”
Coleman is the 4th witness who has come forward, in addition to DiSabato, who claims that Jordan knew about the events which took place.
This has led many individuals on social media to call for the resignation of Jim Jordan.

Conyers, Franken and Schneiderman were all pushed out by Democrats because of sexual abuse scandals. How bad will this Jim Jordan situation have to get before Republicans make him resign? Let’s hold elected officials accountable regardless of party. https://t.co/KzXm4nPYxa

At this point, it's not "if" Rep @Jim_Jordan resigns, it's **WHEN**‼️

These allegations could not come at a worse time for Jordan, who is up against Democrat Janet Garrett in the race for Ohio’s 4th Congressional seat. It’ll be interesting to see if any Republicans in Congress stand up for those who are alleging Jordan’s lack of action may have led to further sexual abuse at Ohio State by Dr. Strauss.
