BREAKING: William Barr Orders Justice Department to Investigate “Substantial Allegations” of Voter Fraud

Attorney General William Barr ordered Justice Department prosecutors across the country to begin investigating “substantial allegations” of voter fraud and other election irregularities in a memo obtained by the Associated Press on Monday evening.

Instead of conceding the election, President Donald Trump has insisted that his defeat to President-Elect Joe Biden must be fraudulent.

Trump loyalist Barr has amplified the president’s allegations despite there being no evidence of malfeasance from voters or elections officials.

Barr’s decree “gives prosecutors the ability to go around longstanding Justice Department policy that normally would prohibit such overt actions before the election is certified,” the AP pointed out.

Probes “may be conducted if there are clear and apparently-credible allegations of irregularities that, if true, could potentially impact the outcome of a federal election in an individual State,” Barr wrote to Justice Department personnel.

Barr also insisted in his memo that the DOJ policy “not to conduct overt investigations, including interviews with individual voters, until after the outcome of the election allegedly affected by the fraud is certified” should not apply because any findings could affect the final vote tallies, which states have to certify by December 8.

The Department of Justice is not, however, presuming that anything sketchy definitely occured.

“While serious allegations should be handled with great care, specious, speculative, fanciful or far-fetched claims should not be a basis for initiating federal inquiries,” the memo added. “Nothing here should be taken as an indication that the Department has concluded that voting irregularities have impacted the outcome of any election.”

This reeks of an attempted coup to overthrow the incoming administration, despite it having been elected by a sizeable majority of the American people.

Biden’s victory was achieved on Saturday upon winning the battleground states of Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania, adding 47 Electoral Votes to a total of 306. Ironically, that was the same number that earned Trump the presidency over Democrat Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Additionally, Biden’s lead over Trump in the national popular vote exceeds four million. Biden has also received more votes than any other presidential candidate in American history – nearly 76 million and counting.

Seventy-one days until the inauguration.
