Biden Has Unscheduled Presser, Rips Trump Over Russia Bounty Rumors
The Trump campaign has struggled to find a nickname for Joe Biden similar to Crooked Hillary or Lyin’ Ted. Brad Parscale and crew settled on Hidin’ Biden, hoping to critique the former VP for being quiet during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In Biden’s defense, Trump’s recent public engagements have done nothing to help his election chances. So his camp decided it was best to stay quiet. But on Tuesday afternoon, Biden held an unscheduled presser where he was asked about the Donald Trump Russian bounty controversy.
During the Delaware appearance, Biden was queried about Trump’s claim that intel on Russia wasn’t credible. “He talks about cognitive capability,” the former VP answered. “He doesn’t seem to be cognitively aware of what’s going on. He either reads and/or gets briefed on important issues and he forgets it, or he doesn’t think it’s necessary that he need to know it.”
Joe Biden: “Month after month, as other leaders in other countries took the necessary steps to get the virus under control, Donald Trump failed us. Month after month, as many of us urged him to step up and do his job, he failed us.” https://t.co/ht1UFtEbft pic.twitter.com/GHSSx8omQ7

Biden continued to hit Trump, “So the idea that somehow he didn’t know or isn’t being briefed, it is a dereliction of duty if that’s the case. It’s an absolute dereliction of duty if any of this is even remotely true. So I think the president has a lot to answer for and should get the answers quickly.”
The 2020 Democratic candidate was asked what should happen to Trump is Russian bounty reports were true. He replied, “If these allegations are true, and he did nothing about any of this, then in fact I think the public should conclude this man is unfit to be president of the United States of America.”
