In the days leading up to the BET Awards, BET hosted the BET Experience at the L.A. Live plaza in Downtown LA. While general tickets allowed fans to see their favorite artists perform live on outdoor stages all weekend, the excitement didn’t end there. VIP ticket holders were allowed to enter special restricted areas (usually only available to the stars) and even attend the BET Awards in one of the best seats in the house. This weekend was full of nonstop excitement as various artists such as Nicki Minaj and Snoop Dogg took the stage and wowed thousands of people in the crowd. Kevin Hart even performed a stand-up comedy routine! The entertainment continued all weekend long with even more performances from Ice Cube and Kendrick Lamar.
