Bernie: I Will Work With Biden to Defeat The Most Dangerous President in American History

There are many pundits who feel that after being defeated by Hillary Clinton in 2016, that the Vermont senator didn’t do enough to help her beat Donald Trump. Sanders says that won’t be an issue this time around and that he is committed to helping Biden.

The lawmaker told reporters, “Today I congratulate Joe Biden, a very decent man who I will work with to move our progressive ideas forward.”

Sanders also said, “I will stay on the ballot in all remaining states and continue to gather delegates. While Vice President Biden will be the nominee. We must continue working to assemble as many delegates as possible at the Democratic convention, where we will be able to exert significant influence over the party platform and other functions.”

The Vermont senator continued, “Then together standing united we will go forward to defeatĀ Donald Trump, the most dangerous president in modern American history.”
