Conservatives are terrified at the prospect of Taylor Swift helping Democrats win big in the 2024 election season. The pop star is almost constantly discussed on Fox News and other Right-wing political sites.
Donald Trump decided to take a different tack this weekend. The former President practically begged the recording artist to support him at one point insisting that doing anything different would be disloyal to him. While Swift ignored the former President's message, legendary songwriter Barbra Streisand had her back.
Trump wrote on Truth Social:
"I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists. Joe Biden didn’t do anything for Taylor, and never will. There’s no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money. Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can’t stand me!"
Streisand took to Twitter on Monday afternoon, writing, "Trump is telling Taylor Swift that she’ll be disloyal if she supports Biden! Can you imagine? This is what a dictator is like. He’s really flipped his lid now."
