AZ Secretary of State Says Trump Should Act Like a Grownup and Accept His Loss

At some point in their lives, every child learns to understand what it is like to not get their way. Donald Trump, now in his mid-70’s, never had this realization. The former president has been coddled his entire life, shielded from failure at every turn.

So it was no surprise that Trump has had an utter meltdown about his 2020 election loss. Despite the clear fact that he lost the state of Arizona, his people are still contesting the results. The state’s Secretary of State recently said that the former president needs to grow up.

The Arizona lawmaker made the comments while speaking with CNN’s Jim Acosta. The host asked if it was dangerous for the former president to be appearing in her state. She responded, “Well, it is dangerous. I’m glad you pointed that out. But the bottom line is it doesn’t matter what he says or does, nothing is going to change the outcome of the 2020 election. But it also doesn’t change how dangerous this is.”

The host continued by asking, “And so what is your message to Donald Trump ahead of this rally? Don’t come?”

Hobbs responded, “Well, I mean, like most grownups, take your loss and accept it and move on. Nothing that’s going on here is going to change the outcome, and really this is nothing more than being a sore loser.”
