Lin Wood, one of the attorneys who has made an effort to discredit the 2020 election, is sure there’s a “deep state,” and he’s blamed it for things like “rigging” the election to “steal” it from Donald Trump. Now he’s even blaming the imagined entity for estranging him from his children.
Over the course of the past few years, Wood has emerged as a controversial public figure, embracing q-anon conspiracy theories, involving himself in the case of Kyle Rittenhouse, and pushing his way into election issues. His relationships with his family have come up more than once. FOr instance, the Daily Dot reported back in February on Wood’s ‘doxxing’ of his own son, putting out contact information and encouraging strangers to send their “stories of faith” to the son who apparently is no longer interested in hearing them from Lin.
Is it possible that scum bag operatives in the Deep State might be threatening, even blackmailing, the father’s children?
Now, however, he’s decided exactly who is to blame for his kids cutting him off, and it isn’t Lin himself, or the conspiracies he has embraced or the public spectacle he’s made. Nope, it’s the [spooky conspiracy sounds] Deep State.
“Here is a hypothetical question for you to ponder,” Wood opens, going on to posit a loving, caring father, who becomes a target of the Deep State and suddenly loses his relationship with his children.
“They love him deeply and he knows it. They have a wonderful relationship. All the friends of the family know of the love between the father and his children. Then when the father becomes the target of the Deep State in late 2019 to the present, ALL 4 of his children suddenly seem to attack their father and do not email him, text him, or call on his cell phone (things that can be monitored by the Deep State).”
He’s not stopping there, though, without giving a guess at what went wrong:
“Is it possible that scum bag operatives in the Deep State might be threatening, even blackmailing, the father’s children?”
In the full post on Wood’s Telegram page, viewable here, he pivots to discuss David Hancock, a spokesperson for Kyle Rittenhouse who has spoken critically of Lin, then a warning against anyone who “make[s] the mistake of harming so much as a hair on the head” of his children or grandchild — without actually making any case that Hancock or any other purported ‘operative’ has done so or threatened to do so, before inviting Hancock back to visit Lin’s South Carolina property, with what appears to be a thinly-veiled threat.
“Hey, Fraudcock, you have a big lying mouth. You are invited back to Tomotley for one last visit with me, you Deep State scum bag. My puppies would be happy to be present at our final meeting.”
Unlike Wood, his children have not seen fit to make public statements about their relationship, or why they’re apparently not interacting with their father.
