Number Eight: She Was in Donnie Darko. You might think of Tisdale as a bubblegum-blonde actress who only plays bubbly characters, but that’s where you’d be wrong. Tisdale was in the dark indie cult class Donnie Darko, where she played “Kim, Dorky Girl.”
Number Seven: She Was the First Female Artist to Debut Two Songs Simultaneously. Every song featured on the soundtrack for the first High School Musical appeared on the Hot 100. Tisdale sang on several songs on the soundtrack, and as a result, she became the first female artist to debut two songs at the same time on the Hot 100. The two songs were “What I’ve Been Looking For” and “Bop to the Top.”
Number Six: She Has Her Own Documentary. Tisdale was part of a documentary that centered around the creation of her first solo album, Headstrong. The documentary was released in 2007 as a music DVD called There’s Something About Ashley.
Number Five: She Played an Escort. In two episodes of the hit show Sons of Anarchy, Tisdale portrayed a high-end escort. This was a stark departure from the roles she played in her childhood and growing up.
Number Four: She Is Married. But she keeps her life so private you might not know it! Tisdale began dating the lead singer of the band Annie Automatic, Christopher French, in December of 2012. They were engaged in August of 2013, and in September of 2014, they were married.
Number Three: She Has a Diverse Set of Influences. Tisdale is influenced by a variety of actors and musicians, including (but not limited to) Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Robin Williams, and Led Zeppelin.
Number Two: She Was the 45th Most Influential Woman on Twitter. In 2015, Huffington Post named Tisdale the 45th most influential woman on Twitter. The girl clearly has some clout!
Number One: She Is Incredibly Charitable. Tisdale has supported numerous charities, including the Make a Wish Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and the Special Olympics.
