In case you still think of Ashley Tisdale as just another Disney star, think again. The 30-year-old has graduated beyond her Disney days and has become one of the most recognizable people in the industry. Number Fifteen: She Appeared in More Than 100 Television Ads. And only as a child! Tisdale grew up acting in commercials, and as a child, she was in more than 100 television advertisement.
Number Fourteen: She Got a Record Deal Because of Her Acting Career. After the success of High School Musical, Tisdale was offered a record deal by Warner Bros. in 2006. Her debut album, which was titled Headstrong, was certified gold by the RIAA. In 2013, she released a second album titled Guilty Pleasure, and she has since expressed a desire to continue making music.
Number Thirteen: She Has Ventured Into Producing. Since achieving success as an actress and a singer, Tisdale has also dabbled in producing. She made her own production company in 2008, and she has also worked as an executive producer on several television shows and films.
Number Twelve: She Was Raised in a Multi-Religion Household. Tisdale’s mother is Jewish, but her father is a Christian. She says that she was raised with exposure to both religions.
Number Eleven: She Only Took One Singing Lesson Before Landing Her First Big Role. When Tisdale was just eight years old, she got the role of Cosette in Les Miserables. She revealed that she could only remember taking one singing lesson before she got the role.
Number Ten: She Toured in Korea. After Tisdale toured as part of Les Miserables, she landed a role in Annie, and she toured all over Korea as part of the production.
Number Nine: She Sang for Bill Clinton. Tisdale sang for Bill Clinton when he was still president. She sang for him during an even at the White House.
