As Tucker Carlson Insults Immigrants, Here’s a List of His Advertisers

Last week, Tucker Carlson made a statement on his Fox News show which has led one advertiser to head for the doors.

“Our leaders demand that you shut up and accept this,” Carlson stated. “We have a moral obligation to admit the world’s poor, they (Nancy Pelosi, and Paul Ryan) tell us, even if it makes our own country poorer and dirtier and more divided. Immigration is a form of atonement.”

Carlson then proceeded to refer to members of the Central American caravan as “cynical shakedown artists”.

This advertiser, Pacific Life, announced that they would at least temporarily be pausing their advertising on the Tucker Carlson Tonight show, saying:

“Pacific Life’s national advertising campaign runs on numerous networks and cable stations and on a variety of news, business, and sports programs. One of our ads appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show last night following a segment where Mr. Carlson made a number of statements regarding immigration.  As a company, we strongly disagree with Mr. Carlson’s statements.  Our customer base and our workforce reflect the diversity of our great nation, something we take great pride in.  We will not be advertising on Mr. Carlson’s show in the coming weeks as we reevaluate our relationship with his program.”

Tucker Carlson’s show relies on dozens of advertisers, however, so it is unlikely that one advertiser dropping their support would cause much of a hiccup in the production of the prime time Fox News airing.  Social media users have been abuzz, many of whom have pushed for boycotts of Carlson and his advertisers for months, if not years.  This has left many critics of the host, who rarely watch the show, if ever, to seek out lists of those companies who continue to support Carlson.
