Pop music sensation Ariana Grande posted a picture to her social media accounts, seemingly making an endorsement for president in the Democratic Party primaries.

Grande, posing alongside Vermont independent Sen. Bernie Sanders, called him “MY GUY” and said she would “never smile this hard again” in her Instagram posting. The two met briefly on Tuesday night after her show in Atlanta, Newsweek reported.
Although not outright endorsing Sanders for the presidency, calling him “MY GUY” makes it somewhat clear that he is her likely choice among the Democratic candidates running.
“[T]hank you Senator Sanders for coming to my show, making my whole night and for all that you stand for!” Grande also wrote.

Sanders, for his own part, also recognized Grande in his social media, calling her an “outstanding advocate for social justice,” according to a report from Yahoo! News.
“We must all be prepared — like Ariana has shown – to fight for everyone who is struggling. It was great to meet her in Atlanta [Tuesday] night,” the senator added.
The 26-year-old pop singer has been active in political causes for some time, including on her current touring schedule. Grande has teamed up with HeadCount.org, a nonprofit organization that aims to register young people to vote in next year’s election.
“@headcountorg and I are doing our best to make you proud,” Grande also wrote in her post that featured Sanders. “we’ve already registered 20k+ young voters at my shows and more online and we aren’t stopping any time soon. proud of my fans for paying attention and getting involved.”
