AOC Introduces Articles of Impeachment Against Alito & Thomas

One day after two Democratic Senators called for an investigation into Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, a Democratic Congresswoman has taken things one step further.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) introduced Articles of Impeachment against both Thomas and Justice Samuel Alito on Wednesday afternoon.

"Today, I introduced articles of impeachment against Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito," Rep. AOC tweeted, along with the link to her full statement.

Democrats do not come to play when it comes to corruption on the Court.

After what seems like an eternity waiting for accountability for Thomas--and yes, I mean since Anita Hill--the articles introduced by AOC lay out all of the truths about not just his anti-American activities, but his wife's as well.

AOC accuses Thomas and Alito of refusing to recuse themselves from cases in which they had a "personal bias or prejudice concerning a party," as well as "failure to disclose" income, gifts, and other financial information.

Hi, your entire life financed by Harlan Crow, Clarence!

The articles brutally targeting Thomas include a third charge: "Refusal to recuse from matters involving his spouse's financial interest in cases before the court."

Those resolutions point to extravagant gifts both justices received from benefactors reportedly involved in or connected to cases before the Supreme Court.

But best of all, the measures include the involvement of Ginni Thomas in the efforts to overturn the 2020 election, along with the "Stop the Steal" symbols and flags at Alito's properties.

Seems like a good argument for the justices to have recused themselves from any cases connected to January 6th.

AOC has plenty of support from her fellow progressive Congressional co-sponsors: Reps. Barbara Lee (D-CA), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ), Delia Ramirez (D-IL), Maxwell Frost (D-FL), Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Jamaal Bowman (D-NY).
