Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded on Tuesday to Vivek Ramaswamy's complaints about Republicans being referred to as weird.
Thanks to both Donald Trump and especially J.D. Vance, the Harris campaign has regularly been hammering the Republican ticket as strange. The moniker has clearly hit a nerve as Conservatives are hitting back both in the news and online.
That group included Vivek Ramaswamy, a very weird person who ran for the Republican nomination. While the businessman and political novice did not score the nomination, he has become an important surrogate for Donald Trump.
Ramaswamy replied to being called weird by writing, "This 'they’re weird' argument from the Democrats is dumb & juvenile. This is a presidential election, not a high school prom queen contest. It’s also a tad ironic coming from the party that preaches 'diversity & inclusion.' Win on policy if you can, but cut the crap please."
Ocasio-Cortez shared the Republican's post and added her own response, writing to Ramawamy:
"Being obsessed with repressing women is goofy.
Trying to watch what LGBTQ+ people do all the time is abnormal.
Punishing people who don’t have biological offspring is creepy.
It’s an incel platform, dude.
It’s SUPER weird.
And people need to know."
