AOC Burns Marjorie Taylor Greene to the Ground Following Confrontation

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) responded to being accosted on Thursday morning by Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), telling reporters that Greene is just like unruly patrons that she used to kick out of bars.

“I used to work as a bartender and these are the kinds of people that I threw out of bars all the time,” AOC said. She also referenced the time Florida Republican Representative Ted Yoho called her a “f*cking b*tch.”

AOC added that it “isn’t even about how I feel — it’s that I refuse to allow young women, people of color, people who are standing up for what they believe to see this kind of intimidation attempts by a person who supported white supremacists in our nation’s capital.”

In a separate interview with Talking Points Memo, Ocasio-Cortez’s Communications Director Lauren Hitt said that Greene had “approached the congresswoman one time previously — though this was decidedly an escalation.”

Greene-world, meanwhile, accused the media of harassing them because they asked questions about Greene’s actions.

AOC was “reacting like a child,” Greene told reporters. “Talking to her. She says screaming. You know what screaming is? Screaming is what people do when rockets are fired at them like Hamas terrorists are firing into Israel. That’s what people do, they scream when that happens.”
