Number Fifteen: She Attended School With Other British Stars. Adele graduated from the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology in 2006. While she was there, she had some very famous classmates, including Leona Lewis, Jessie J and Amy Winehouse. However, she apparently didn’t get to spend much time with Winehouse.
Number Fourteen: She Has Sarah Palin to Thank for Her Success. Adele has stated that eccentric politician Sarah Palin “made her career.” Apparently, Palin really wanted to meet her, and they met and sed hello. The moment was parodied when Adele was on Saturday Night Live. After the episode aired, her single “Chasing Pavements” rose to number 11, up from number 45.
Number Thirteen: She Has an Alter-Ego. Just like Beyonce, Adele has an alter-ego. She calls herself “Sasha Carter,” which is a combination of Sasha Fierce and country singer June Carter. She apparently arrived at Sasha Carter after meeting Beyonce and nearly having an “anxiety attack.”
Number Twelve: She Doesn’t Have any Siblings. Adele might not be spoiled, but she’s an only child! Other stars who are only children include Charlize Theron, Lenny Kravitz, and Brooke Shields.
Number Eleven: She Used to Smoke…But Not Anymore. Since Adele has her son in the picture, she quit smoking and now leads a healthier lifestyle. She enjoyed the habit of smoking, but she didn’t like the idea of dying before her time.
Number Ten: If She Wasn’t a Singer, She Would Be a Doctor. Adele’s grandfather died when she was just 10 years old, and this event reportedly inspired her to want to become a doctor. She studied biology in school the following year, but she eventually gave up on it. Which is great news for her fans!
Number Nine: She Has Some Serious Tattoos. Adele has five tattoos – three on her hands, one on her left wrist, and one behind her right ear. She got her latest tattoo in 2013, which was reportedly about her son, Angelo.
