Republican Senator Thom Tillis went off on Twitter Friday, accusing Laura Loomer of being worse than someone planted into Donald Trump's campaign by Democrats.
On Thursday, Tillis got to see Kamala Harris have a raucous rally in front of big crowds in Greensboro and Charlotte, and realized Republicans could be in serious trouble this fall.
Trump has several problems, but one easily fixable one is palling around with conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer. Tillis wrote on Twitter today:
"Laura Loomer is a crazy conspiracy theorist who regularly utters disgusting garbage intended to divide Republicans. A DNC plant couldn't do a better job than she is doing to hurt President Trump's chances of winning re-election. Enough."
Loomer, of course, would not take the criticism from Tillis laying down. She fired back on Twitter, "Thom Tillis a RINO who attacked President Trump after January 6 and called for all of the January 6 political prisoners to remain in jail. Thom Tillis IS the DNC Plant he accuses me of being."
The controversial Trump staffer continued, "The North Carolina senator opposed Trump's plan to use military construction dollars to build a wall along our nation's southern border and only agreed to show up to the RNC this year to pretend like he was unified after Donald Trump was shot in the ear."
