Aaron Carter: 15 Things You Didn’t Know (Part 1)

Aaron Carter was one of the most recognizable names in pop music when he was younger. Carter has since grown up quite a bit, but he still remains a relevant figure in the industry. However, despite the fact that Carter has spent a considerable amount of time in the spotlight and under the scrutiny of the public eye, there are still some things that many people don’t know. Number Fifteen: His Parents Ran a Retirement Home. Carter was born in Tampa Florida, and his parents were Jane Elizabeth and Robert Gene Carter. Together, his parents managed the Garden Villa Retirement Home.

Number Fourteen: His Twin Sister Is a Model. You probably know that Aaron’s older brother is the Backstreet Boy’s Nick Carter, but did you know he has a twin sister as well? Well, he does, and her name is Angel. She is a model.

Number Thirteen: He Was Arrested. Carter was arrested in 2008 for speeding. Well, technically, he was pulled over for speeding, and the authorities found less than two ounces of marijuana in his car. He was subsequently arrested because of the marijuana.

Number Twelve: He Was a Dead End. Before he pursued a solo career, Carter belonged to a band called Dead End. The band was formed when he and its fellow members met at a rock school they all attended in Tampa, Florida. Carter was the band’s lead singer, but he left after two years.

Number Eleven: He Dated Hilary Duff. Carter and Duff began dating in 2000 after he released Aaron’s Party (Come Get It). Carter also guest starred on an episode of the Disney Channel series Duff was starring in at the time, Lizzie McGuire.

Number Ten: He Was on Broadway. Carter made his Broadway debut in 2001 when he played the character of JoJo the Who in Seussical the Musical.

Number Nine: He Released His Third Album By the Time He Was 13 Years Old. Carter was just 13 years old when he released not his first, not his second, but his third album. The album, titled Oh Aaron, went Platinum.
