Most people either extremely dig Kanye West, or they just downright hate him. Kanye is not only known for his incredible talent and beautiful wife, but also his cocky attitude and what some people would call narcissistic behavior. Regardless of what you may think about him, Mr.West is a pop culture phenomenon whose accomplishments and attitude are things each man, no matter what age, can draw inspiration from. Not only is he the newest recipient of the coveted Video Vanguard Award from MTV’s VMAs (which aired this past Sunday), he’s also expecting a baby boy with Kim K. and has a highly anticipated album dropping very soon. I’m not sure who you look up to, but Kanye should be on that list. Here are five reasons why you should admire Kanye West.
Number Five: His Style. From popped polo collars to stylish retro shades, Kanye has always been a trendsetter in the fashion world. Even today, he’s still on the top of the pyramid for some go-to fashion inspiration. On top of that, his line of sneakers and clothing have created an even larger fanbase for him at the age of 38. If you don’t already pay attention to his presence in the fashion industry, you need to start.
Number Four: His IDGAF Attitude. We all remember when Kanye stormed the stage to interrupt Taylor Swift at the at the 2009 MTV VMAs. His IDGAF attitude was on full display for the entire world to see. Since then, he and Taylor have made amends, and it seems like they are even BFFs. And how about the numerous times he’s flipped out on paparazzi and gone beast mode on live television and radio broadcasts. Point blank, Kanye doesn’t care what people think about him. He speaks his mind and does what he wants to do. At the end of the day, he’s happy and lives the life he wants. Take note of this if you struggle saying how you feel to people.

Number Two: His Circle of Friends. It is said that your network dictates your net worth. Well, it seems like Kanye has been surrounding himself with the right people. With a net worth of $130 million, it’s no mystery that Kanye knows who to call a friend.
Number One: His Talent. Platinum selling albums, music videos, sneaker and clothing designs, and more. Since 2001, Kanye has been receiving recognition for his uncanny talent as a musician and overall creative genius. It’s only going up from here.
