5 Amazing People With Extra Body Parts

Some people might think that those who have extra body parts are freaks of nature, but the truth is much more complex. These five amazing people with extra body parts have overcome enormous obstacles and lived their lives in the best way possible. Check out their inspirational stories below.

 Number Five: George Lippert.

George Lippert was born with three legs and two hearts. His third leg was fully functional until Lippert fractured it, and his leg quickly became an attraction to many people. He was even friends with P.T. Barnum of Barnum & Bailey! He eventually died of tuberculosis.

Number Four: Jasmine Tridevil.

The story of Jasmine Tridevil isn’t exactly inspirational, but it is interesting. She “earned” her claim to fame when she began posting pictures of herself with three breasts, claiming that she got the surgery to avoid dating. However, the fact that she tried to appear on as many TV shows as possible points to another reason she got the third breast. Later videos proved that the third breast was a fake.

Number Three: Deepak Paswan.

Deepak Paswan was born with several extra parts – two extra arms, and two extra legs, all of which came out of his chest. Some people in religious communities believed this meant he was a reincarnation of Vishnu. However, he eventually got surgery to remove his extra limbs and now leads a completely normal life.

Number Two: Yi Xilian.

Yi Xilian was horrified when she gave birth and saw that her baby appeared to have two faces. Well, not exactly – her son had a massive transverse facial cleft. Though the baby was perfectly healthy, Yi began to raise money to fix the cleft and eventually hopes to get him the surgery.

Number One: Abigail Hensel and Brittany Hensel.

The story of Abigail and Brittany Hensel is truly inspirational. These two girls are conjoined twins who have separate heads but joined bodies. They each have their own heart, stomach, and spine, and each twin can write, eat and comb their hair independently. However, their independence makes activities like walking and clapping a challenge. They even have their own show on TLC!
