Renklim Blog’s “100 Years of Beauty in 1 Minute” video does an excellent job of demonstrating that beauty standards are constantly evolving. One model is used as a mannequin to represent 100 years of hair and makeup trends above the neck, some of which you’ll probably find ridiculous. Just like hindsight is 20/20, ask your parents, and they’ll tell you big hair and bright blue eyeshadow really were all the rage in the 1980s. Because the video is sped up, all 100 years can be represented in one minute, which is perfect for those of us with wavering attention spans.
