With the growing popularity of rap music, the best rappers who ever lived must be ranked. While we would like to recognize all of the talented rappers out there, it would be a nearly impossible feat. So for your reading please, we present only the top ten very best rappers who ever lived.

Number Ten: Gary Grice. Or “The Genius”, as you may be familiar with him. This ground-breaking hip-hop artist is one of the best at what he does. Number Eight: Anthony Cruz. Or AZ, emerged from his hometown of Brooklyn, New York. He is best known as the rhyme partner of Nas; however, his career peaked when he performed with the hip-hop group, The Firm. He has earned nicknames from his fans such as “The Rap James Bond” and “The Visualizer”. Now retired, he lives in Englewood, New Jersey.

Number Seven: Cordozar Broadus. Though you may know him as Snoop Dogg, Snoop Doggy Dog, or even Snoop Lion. This iconic rapper is one of the most successful in his field, selling over 30 million albums worldwide. He was discovered by the infamous Dr. Dre and released his debut album in 1993 through Death Row Records. He hit the Billboard Top charts almost instantly.

Number Six: Brad Terrence Jordan. With such a long name, it only makes sense that he created the stage name “Scarface”. Originally from Houston, Texas, this man is most noted for his role as one of the Geto Boys. He is considered one of the best lyricists of all time, as well as one of the most talented and noted MCs.
