Something Was Off About This Dog
Tracy complied with all the extraordinary demands her neighbor had written down for her. Nonetheless, as the days passed the situation only became more peculiar.
The residents in her vicinity had informed her that their pet was extraordinary, yet she never anticipated it to be something of this magnitude. It was only while on their stroll that she acknowledged something truly wrong.
A Peculiar Dog
Despite being informed that he was a border collie, Tracy was not entirely convinced. She assumed that some other breed had been combined with him, which was the reason for his immense stature.

They invited her to their residence, and said they would give her more information. Tracy rapped on the door and was allowed in. The people living nearby were a mature pair that seemed nice.
Dog Sitting
Tracy surveyed her surroundings, but could not spot any youngster or creature. Was she simply supposed to safeguard the home? That is when they clarified the whole thing. They revealed she would be responsible for caring for their Border Collie, Bullet.
Tracy was overjoyed. Taking care of pups made her the most content. She felt like she didn't deserve to be compensated for something she had so much fun doing. Unbeknownst to her, the pup had a secret.

He's currently at the groomer's getting spruced up for you. That seemed to satisfy Tracy. But the two of them were trying to conceal something from her, which she had no idea about.
Preparing Her Things
Tracy decided to begin work the following day. The pair expressed their gratitude to her. They declared that nobody else had taken the job and they were concerned they would have to abandon their holiday.
Tracy went back to her residence and got her items ready. It would be straightforward enough to go to the abode beside hers daily and make sure Bullet was okay. However, it was the journey that would result in disaster.
Meeting Bullet
Early the following day, Tracy strolled over to her neighbor's dwelling to begin her initial day of work. Their vehicle was not there, indicating they had already departed.

The space had all the hallmarks of a young adult's bedroom. On one side was a bed, next to which was a desk with a laptop. Plastered along the walls were pictures of canines. Was the pup in the residence given the same respect as a person?
Prior to carrying out a more thorough examination, Bullet emerged from the wardrobe and joyfully wagged his tail. She grinned and guided him downstairs to provide him with sustenance. She put the peculiar chamber to the back of her mind for the present.
A Strange Week
Tracy visited the house regularly over the next few days to provide meals and exercise for the dog, Bullet. On the last day that she was watching him, she determined to take him on the longest walk yet.
She was sure he could manage it, even if it took a while and he became fatigued. She thought it would be a nice opportunity to bond. However, she didn't know that she was making an enormous blunder.
Their Last Walk
Tracy and Bullet stepped through the entrance and onto the sidewalk. The thrilled pooch tugged on the leash, but this was something she was accustomed to. She didn't hold it against the canine; they often behaved differently when their masters weren't present.
The two strolled along the pavement, and Tracy plotted to take a short journey and afterward bring him back. However, the conclusion was not what she expected.
A Sickening Pop
Tracy was almost done with her stroll when something completely unexpected occurred. The projectile was joyfully bounding in her direction when he suddenly landed in an unusual posture.
She heard a horrible sound that made her sick to her stomach. She hurried to the border collie to find out what had taken place, but when she saw that his shoulder had been ripped, her heart started to beat rapidly.

Tracy's stomach sank as she thought about having to hurry the creature to the veterinarian. Would it be alright? It was obvious that it was in a terrible state, but she had to see how it was doing.
She approached him and the sight of his tears made her feel ill. But then she realized there was no injury. Suddenly, a stranger spoke out of nowhere and asked her, "What are you doing here?
The Shocking Truth
Tracy inspected the canine's shoulder and was stunned by what she saw. The fur and hide had been torn apart so that seams of stitching were visible. She was filled with terror and anxiously scanned the area; where had the voice come from?
She glanced between the road and the pooch, and then heard the voice again. This time, she could pinpoint where it was coming from, though she didn't want to accept it.
Inside
Tracy was hearing a faint sound coming from within Bullet. She questioned whether Bullet was real, and despite feeling scared, she moved nearer towards the creature. Tracy expelled her fear and hesitancy and placed her palm on the supposed injury, peeling it open further.
She did not pick up any cries of anguish, and the sutures were effortless to separate. Obviously, none of this had been true. After a lot of tugging, she was amazed by what she discovered.
A Suit
The pooch was nothing but a costume. However, there was still something living inside. Tracy got rid of the clothing and was surprised to find that it was a young adult. He appeared to be as taken aback as she was.
